2009

Elections.
Its 2009 the voting has finished and Barrack Obama is the new President of the United States. Former Illinois senator, 46 years old ,and part of the Democratic party Obama is the first "black president" of the United States. Obama has expressed his want for change in external image Barack_Obama.jpgthe U.S., health care reforms and so on. Media wise the public has heard more about the Obama's dog, vaccations, and whethe or not Michelle Obama should wear shorts, than any extreme changes to our government. The health care reform arguments continue on and the U.S. deficit tops $1 trillion. Obama has stated that the U.S. will be pulling out from Iraq but the fighting is still continuing an there have been more deaths. In defense of President Obama these changes do take time but mayb they need to be sped up. Viruses In 2009 the U.S. has seen increasing spread of Swine Flu(H1N1), MRSA, and Spanish influenza. Swine Flu has been predicted to be the worst with flu season upon us schools are urging children to wash their hands more often, to sneeze into their elbows an not hands, and parents are incouraged to get their children Flu shots to stop the spread of flu. MRSA spread has also increased student athletes are especially incourage to cover up cuts and scraps, wash their equitment more often, and to wear shoes on pool decks. Future 2009 is coming to a close in a few short months and still so much is happening can we pull out of our economic problems in 2010? What will the Swine Flu impact be? Will the U.S. Troops be home befor 2020?Well just have to keep moving forward and see what comes our way.
